On September 27th, 2005, the ART ON WHEELS “Art Bus” drove to Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Over 150 boxes of new art supplies, numerous crates of paper, several cartons of 26x36 drawing pads, large bolts of material, and 75 boxes of miscellaneous craft supplies were personally delivered to both communities. Members of the Louisiana Art Therapy Association and owners of Galerie Eclaireuse in Lafayette, helped sort and distribute art supplies. Supplies went to  shelters in Baton Rouge, several public schools in Lafayette, three universities, and a hospital working with displaced children and adults. These donations were truly from the “Heart of Missouri” and greatly appreciated by victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita!
